NAB amendment ordinance approved in National Assembly

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Amendment Ordinance were tabled to the National Assembly by the government, which has been passed by the lower house.

According to the details, the session was chaired by Deputy Speaker National Assembly Qasim Suri, in which the government managed to approve the ordinance despite opposition protest.

Total of 11 bills passed including presidential ordinances, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ali Mohammad Khan presented mortgage bail ordinance 2019, parliamentary secretary health Dr Nushin Hamid presented medical tribunal ordinance while medical tribunal ordinance 2019 was also presented in the house and Ali Muhammad Khan presented new Pakistan Housing and Development bill.

Opposition members, on the other hand, ripped off copies of the agendas and ordinances, while there were hooliganism by the opposition parties over the submission of medical tribunal bills and mortgage guarantees.
