Special song on Kartarpur corridor has been released with a message of peace love and religious harmony.

According to details, while addressing the launching ceremony of the song Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan said that it is the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to protect and give freedom to all minorities.

She further stated that the release of this song will give the image of enlightened and moderate nation to the world and also it will portray the true face of Islam.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan waived off two requirements for the Sikhs coming for pilgrimage to Kartarpur from India.

In a tweet, he said the Sikhs from India would not need a passport now but just a valid identity card.

They no longer have to register ten days in advance.

The federal government had also issued a commemorative coin of 50 rupees on the 550th birthday of Baba Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikhism.

The Sikh pilgrims, during their visit to the Gurdwara Kartarpur Sahib next month, will be able to buy the coin of worth Rs50.

The postage stamps, with the image of Gurdwara Janam Asthan, will also be issued.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate the project on November 9, three days before the 550th birth anniversary Baba Guru Nanak that will be celebrated on November 12.

Pakistan and India had agreed to open the corridor to the Kartarpur Gurdwara last year located in Pakistan on the occasion of 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.

The Kartarpur Corridor, which will be the first visa-free route between Pakistan and India, just a few kilometers from the International border of India and Pakistan.
