The lives of passengers traveling in the National Airline, Pakistan International Airline are in danger, the nternational Transport Workers’ Federation (ITF) warns.

Secretary General of ITF Stephen Cotton wrote a letter to Prime Minister Imran Khan.

In a letter Mr Stephen Cotton has expressed his serious concerns regarding the duration of cabin crew which is increased from 12 hours to 14 hours.

The letter has warned, the passenger lives have been put at risk after the decision of cabin crew.

The letter also said, employees are paid late every month and retired employees are not getting their pensions.

General Secretary ITF said, the salaries of the staff have not been increased after 2016 and the travelling allowance of cabin crew is also not issued for one year.

He said, the voice of the  CBA is also being suppressed when it comes to raising voice for the employees.

Cotton also complained to Prime Minister Imran Khan in the letter that he had already written a letter to him in this regard but no effective action was taken.

PIA administration has issued new orders for medical bills in the field of medical finance, as per the sources of Pakistan International Airlines.

According to details, CEO PIA took action when Bol News identified corruption in the department and ordered an investigation against Deputy GM of Medical Finance Mohammad Masih, Manager Athar Prize Malik

According to PIA sources, all medical bills of the employees will be approved through the ERP system on the computer.

According to PIA sources, heavy medical bills were approved for failure of the ERP system and for alleged corruption, while heavy medical bills were sanctioned by only interested persons against the Department of Medical Finance.

Medical department of PIA plans to appoint new deputy GM after the report of Bol News.
