Employment requires investment, says PM Imran Khan

Prime Minister Imran Khan addresses in Islamabad here on Wednesday (Today).

PM Imran  said that I welcome the Chinese companies to invest in Pakistan. Glad that now the tyres will be made in Pakistan also.

According to the details, PM addressed a ceremony in Islamabad, saying that we are glad to announce that tyres will be manufactured in Pakistan as well.

PM addresses MSD Tire and Rubber Company, Doublestar China and Dawood Pakistan Express Bus Service Limited.

The Prime Minister welcomed the Chinese investment in different sectors and said Pakistan will encourage more Chinese investment by providing them an enabling environment.

He said several agreements have already been signed with China and the CPEC provides the platform to further bolster the economic partnership between the two countries.

The tyre manufacturing will no longer coat any dollar for us, he added.

He said that foreign investment is now coming to Pakistan to provide basic facilities to the construction industry.

PM Imran said that we are fully trying to make it easier for the foreign investors.

My next target is to provide jobs to the people, however, employment requires investment, PM said.

Imran Khan added that imports have been reduced to decrease the deficit.

“In the last 3 months, the rupee rate has improved”, said PM. “I would like to thank the teams for improving the rupee rate all over.”

The president of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has acknowledged our economic success.
