Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DGISPR) Major General Asif Ghafoor has said that there is no conflict between the government and the army, the Prime Minister and the Army Chief are on the same page.

He said that supporting the democratic government is a constitutional responsibility of Army.

In a statement, DGISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and the Army Chief are in contact with each other while some of their meetings are reported and some are not.

DGISPR said that it is essential for national development that both stay in touch and there is no other opinion on state issues.
