Hammad Azhar Hopeful for positive outcomes on FATF matter

Economic Affairs Minister Hammad Azhar said Pakistan has achieved massive success on Financial Action Task Force (FATF) issues.

According to details Hammad Azhar hoped to get progress after submitting final report next month.

He said the members dealing with FATF have commended the steps taken by Pakistan.

Earlier, Hammad Azhar said Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Qatar have provided $5.5 billion financial package to Pakistan.

Hammad Azhar said that Saudi Arabia have provided three billion dollars, UAE two billion dollars while Qatar provided 500 million dollars.

He said that the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf government retired public debt of worth 9.1 billion dollars.

Earlier on October 22, Saudi Arabia had extended its support for Pakistan at every level, it could.
