The hearing was postponed because of the delay of NAB prosecutor.

However, when the prosecution resumed after the NAB prosecutor came to court, the prosecutor requested Khurshid Shah’s further 15-day judicial remand.

Khurshid Shah’s lawyer and senior lawmaker Raza Rabbani opposed, saying that Khurshid Shah was being subjected to political retaliation.

Rabbani added that 90 days have passed since my client was arrested, but the NAB has not made any reference or has not provided any evidence so this case should be dismissed.

Multiple corruption cases against Shah were under investigation with NAB.

In 2012, an accountability court had directed NAB to file a reference against him on a complaint pertaining to alleged accumulation of illegitimate assets.
