Sheikh Rasheed says Pakistan is the base camp of Kashmir movement

Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed said on Wednesday, Pakistan is the base camp of Kashmir movement.

According to details, the minister addressed in Rawalpindi.

Sheikh Rasheed said every Pakistani united over Kashmir issue.

However, he said Pakistan is the base camp of Kashmir movement.

Sheikh Rasheed also said  he has closely witnessed the struggle for freedom of Kashmiris.

The minister added sacrifices will needed for annexing Kashmir in Pakistan.

He said Pakistan will also do best to make Kashmir self-governing state.

Sheikh Rasheed also criticized the special court verdict on former military ruler General Retired Pervez Musharraf.

Rasheed said who looted the national treasury, away from the range of accountability.

Whereas, the person who gained victory on the war front for the country declared traitor.

He advised for the removal of differences among the institutions.

He said Musharraf’s verdict will produce difference between the institutions.

Sheikh Rasheed added that Prime Minister Imran Khan summoned an emergency meeting today to discuss the current situation.

Sheikh Rasheed said that those looted and plundered fleeing the country.

Moreover, he said Musharraf helped country progress and treated with disdain.

“The people aren’t happy, nor is the verdict serving democracy,” he said.

He also said that the Army Chief’s extension was a needless debate and the topic warranted no discussions.

He also entailed that armed forces  played a pivotal role in maintaining and returning this country to  peace and prevalent democracy.

Musharraf Case History

Musharraf was indicted in the case in March 2014 for suspending the Constitution in 2007.

In 2016, he left to seek medical treatment in Dubai and hasn’t returned since.

Rasheed’s Profile

During Musharraf’s regime (2001 to 2008), Rasheed held different portfolios.

In 2002, he was appointed as the federal minister for information and broadcasting, while in 2006, he was made the federal minister for railways.
