Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting Senator Faisal Javed  sought the cooperation of members across the aisle to help pass important bills pending in the Senate for legislation.

On Tuesday he was talking to media outside Parliament House in Islamabad.

He said an authority named ‘ZARA’ will be established after passage of Zainab Alert Bill to overcome exploitation and abuse of children.

He said an awareness campaign on media will be launched to sensitize the people about this important social issue.

Faisal Javed said similar bills will be presented in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies soon.

PTI has also set a message on it and will be alerted on social media including social media through PEMRA.

The bill contains a law to punish child molesters

So that the abusers receive the most severe punishment,

He further said The PPP is requested to do any amendments later.
