Pakistan Navy gives free medical assistance at Shams Pir Island

Pakistan Navy set up a medical camp at Shams Pir Island and provided free of cost medical treatment and medicines to hundreds of people.

Spokesperson of Pakistan Navy, in a statement on Monday, said the camp established to create awareness among the locals about fatal diseases.

Spokesperson said Pakistan Navy in collaboration with Sahil Welfare Association & Ulphat Foundation established Free Medical Camp at Shams Pir Island, in Karachi.

They also briefed about important health issues & their prevention.

Earlier Pak Navy has organized a free medical camp in village Dam of Baluchistan with the help of Sahil and Ulfat Welfare Foundations.

According to the Spokesperson, specialist doctors of surgical, medical, skin, gynecology, child and general medically inspected the patients at the camp.

Over seven hundred patients were provided with free medical treatment, medicines and other facilities.

The medical camp set up to create awareness among locals with respect to better medical treatment facilities and health.

Pakistan Navy also distributed rations and other life support aids to hurricane-hit Sindh coastal areas.

Furthermore According to Pak Navy’s spokesperson, the medical staff along with the rescue teams provided basic medical help to the victims.

Its to remember that the hurricane in 2019 raised the water level and affected hundreds of families in the coastal areas of Sindh to whom Pak-Navy is assisting.
