PTI Leader Jahangir Tareen calls on MQM’s Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui

Jahangir Tareen met Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for Prime Minister Imran Khan’s confidence-building mission.

During the meeting, Jahangir Tareen assured to inform the Prime Minister regarding MQM’s demands and reservations.

According to sources, the federal government has also agreed to provide development funds to the MQM under which small funds will be provided for some projects before June while funds will be allocated in the new financial year for larger projects.

Sources also said that MQM will receive funds for some important projects before June and the federal government will give MQM large funds which will be provided for repairing, water, sewerage and cleaning bridges in Karachi.

MQM rejects Bilawal’s offer to topple government

Earlier, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has invited Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) to join Sindh Government.

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, while addressing people after inauguration of Four Mega Uplift schemes in Karachi, said that he invites MQM to join Sindh Government.

He also said that Sindh Government will provide equal ministries and number of seats.

He said that the People of Karachi knows Imran Khan has betrayed them. Karachi should be tackled with problems urgently.

In addition to this, he continued that they facilitate people, they have worked in collaboration with the private sector.

“We are still working for people on health, education and other matters for the people of the province.”
