Coronavirus: 350 people on Pak-Iran border allowed to enter Pakistan

The spokesperson for the Baluchistan government Liaquat Shahwani said that 350 pilgrims, have reached Taftan after being permitted to enter from the Pakistan-Iran border.

In a tweet Liaquat Shahwani further stated “People who came from areas affected by Coronavirus in Iran. They will be kept for ten days in Kurtina and others will be allowed to go after screening only if there tests will be negative.

Earlier State Minister of Health Dr Zafar Mirza visited Taftan-Zahdan border to Review the situation of Pakistani pilgrims.

Dr Zafar Mirza shared a plan according to which Pakistani Zaireens will be gradually allowed to return from Iran in batches after full health screening in a next few days.

“Point of entry is being strengthened. Thanks to all for the hard work!” he added.

State Ministry of Health are also launching an online coronavirus platform for FAQs about the disease.
