Mortal Remains of a Woman kept frozen for 12 years found in Karachi

Mortal Remains of a woman, kept frozen for at least 12 years found at a garbage dump in Gulshan e Iqbal area of Karachi, Bol News reported today.

The incident has caused goosebumps.

As per details, remains were of Zakia Khatoon, who died 12 years ago.

Police said in its statement that children of Zakia Khatoon preserved the body of their mother in Freezer despite of burying it.

After the death of her children, her brother Mahboob, 70 took care of the body.

Police has arrested Mahboob and investigation is underway.

However, Mahboob while detailing about the incident said, Children preserved the body  as they loved their mother and did not want to bury her.

Mahboob threw the body in garbage dump last night.

Police have conducted the autopsy.

Zakia’s son Qaiser Riaz and daughter Shagufta Riaz died four months ago, and their flat remained vacant for a long time.

Mahboob said he did not know about his sister’s death, his children did not want to meet anyone.
