A major reshuffle and expansion carried out by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet.

Shaukat Yousafzai has removed from Information ministry and given the labor and culture ministry, while the new KP information minister is Ajmal Khan.

Sources say the decision to change the ministry has been made on the basis of performance.

Chief Minister KP Mahmood Khan was not happy with the information department, the chief minister last month also gave a deadline to improve the performance of the ministers.

Shaukat Yousafzai was removed from information ministry, but will remain to be part of the provincial cabinet. He has been given the culture and labor departments. It may be recalled that a few months ago, three ministers from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cabinet were also accused of conspiring against the chief minister.

Earlier in January, three Khyber Pakhtun Khwa ministers removed from cabinet.

The three ministers removed ministers are Muhammad Atif Khan who was serving as Senior Minister of Sports Culture and Tourism, Khyber Pakhtun khwa.

Shahram Khan Tarakai, who was serving as the Minister of Health, Khyber Pakhtun Khwa and Shakeel Ahmed, Minister of Revenue and Estate among the three ministers removed  from their posts.

Notification has also been issued about the removal of the ministers from their posts.

According to the notification the ministers have been ceased to hold the portfolios of the provincial ministers with immediate effect.
