Prominent religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel called on Monday Prime Minister Imran Khan in federal capital Islamabad.

The two avoided a handshake as precautionary measure due to the coronavirus.

Soon social media was flooded with appreciation at the duo for taking precautions in the wake of the coronavirus.

Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan presided over a meeting of National Coordination Committee (NCC) for COVID-19.

The meeting was attended by the Minister for Religious Affairs Noor-ul-Haq Qadri, the Interior Minister Ijaz Shah, the Adviser on Finance Hafeez Sheikh, the Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Zafar Mirza, the Special Assistant on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan, the Special Assistant for Overseas Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari and others.
