Continuing the long term tradition of successful special transmissions on account of religious events, Pakistan’s largest media group Bol Network is all set to bring you another precious gathering entitled “Shab e Mairaj Mein BOL .”

Muslims all around the globe on the 27th of Rajab ( Islamic Lunar calendar) every year observe Shab e Mairaj to mark the Isra (journey).

Shab e Shab e Mairajis an arabic word.

It is divided into two words, Shab means Night and Meraj or Mairaj means to ascend. Shab e Meraj Means The Night of Ascending.

Meraj is part of the journey of Prophet (P.B.U.H) from Mecca to Masjid Al-Aqsa in Jerusalem (Bait-ul-Maqdas) where Prophet (P.B.U.H) led other prophets in prayer.

He then started a journey to heaven and toured seven circles of the heaven where Prophet (P.B.U.H) met the earlier prophets.

The Prophet (P.B.U.H) then taken to Sidratul-Muntaha – a high ranking place above seventh heaven that Gabriel (Jibraeel a.s) not allowed to trespass.

According to Islamic tradition, at that moment, Allah decreed five obligatory prayers during the night of Mairaj.

PROPHET’S ASCENSION TO HEAVENS

Messenger of Allah (S.A.W.W) met the following great Prophets on each heaven:

• On first heaven, Prophet Adam (A.S.)
• On second heaven, Prophet Isa (A.S.) and Prophet Yahya (A.S.)
• Third heaven, Prophet Yusuf (A.S.)
• Fourth heaven, Prophet Idris (A.S.)
• Fifth heaven, Prophet Haroon (A.S.)

• Seventh heaven, Prophet Ibrahim (A.S.)

Different gatherings and Mahafil-e-Naat arranged to mark the holy night.

On this occasion, BOL has made its effort to take part in the Holy night by adding special transmission for all the believers who spend their time praying all night.

Renowned Anchor, Presenter Dr Fiza Akbar Akhan and program host Fahim Khan will be leading the transmission.

Prominent Religious Scholar Allama Kokab Noorani along others will refresh the memories and teachings of Waqia e Mairaj.

Moreover, Famous Naat and Hamd reciter Siddiq Ismail with awe-inspiring voice will also be part of the biggest transmission of Shab e Mairaj.

Special Transmission “Shab e Mairaj mein BOL” will be aired on 22^nd of March Sunday at 10:00 pm.
