Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that doctors are the frontline soldiers in the war against coronavirus.

General Qamar Javed Bajwa said that developed countries are facing problems due to coronavirus. He added that Pakistan is struggling hard to get medical devices.

He also said that we have to work patiently in this critical time.

“…Most advanced nations / govts are finding it extremely difficult to fight this pandemic. Pakistan Govt is striving hard to acquire & supply the required resources. In this hour of distress, we must remain patient and steadfast.” COAS.


On the other hand, Inter-Services Public Relations has said that the emergency supply of medical devices has been sent to Quetta as per the instructions of COAS.

DG ISPR reported the news in two tweets. DG ISPR said, “Emergency supplies of medical equipment including PPEs being dispatched to Quetta on orders of COAS to help medical staff fight COVID-19 effectively in Balochistan. “Doctors & paramedics are the frontline soldiers in this war…”
