Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi held a telephonic conversation with his Australian counterpart Marise Payne, BOL News reported.

FM Qureshi discusses ongoing Coronavirus situation and matters of mutual interest with Marise Payne.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi apprised the Australian Foreign Minister about the precautionary measures taken by Pakistan to curb spread of the oandemic.

He pointed out that the developing countries face many hardships due to limited economic resources to battle this challenge.

He also said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has suggested the restructuring of their loans so that they could divert their resources to fight against Coronavirus and save precious lives of human.

The FM appreciated the steps taken by the Australia for the well-being of Pakistani nationals especially the students at this critical juncture.
