Food delivery service is back in Karachi despite lockdown

App-based food delivery service, Foodpanda announces to resume deliveries of essential items including food,  medicines and groceries.

Despite the Coronavirus Lockdown, Foodpanda, on its Twitter handle made announcement that they have resumed essential delivery operations in Karachi.

Earlier, the company announced to operate from 9:00 am to 4.30 pm. only in DHA area of Karachi.

Following the new Sindh Government’s directives, Foodpanda will deliver food items and medicines all across the city.

Foodpanda is a mobile food delivery marketplace available in 13 countries. It is mostly active in Asia Pacific, Bulgaria and Romania.

It has headquarters in Berlin, Germany.

The service allows users to select from local restaurants and place orders via its mobile applications as well as its websites.
