It will be very difficult to control virus if it spreads in slums

Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that it would be impossible to control the spread of coronavirus if it targets slums of Sindh.

CM Shah said So far we have not had any case of coronavirus in slums, all cases are from proper settlements.

He said that Coronavirus has badly affected economy.

Furthermore he has warned that more worse will happen if not controlled timely.

Sindh government’s first priority is to reduce the virus by any means, he said;

However, it cannot controlled properly until we find the effective medicine to cure the disease.

If the virus spreads to slum dwellers, it is not possible for anyone to stop it.

That is why the Sindh government has taken drastic measures, We are proud that our scholars understood the nature and cooperated with the government.

Murad Ali Shah said government already facing shortfall in the revenues.

They had a target to receive around Rs 70 billion during the ongoing month of fiscal year.

“We have received Rs 33 billion during the month,”the chief minister said

He added that the province had a salary expense of at least 45 billion.

Murad Ali Shah said that they taking decisions after taking all stakeholders into confidence.
