Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday held a telephonic conversation with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

Both the leaders discussed the spread of Coronavirus pandemic across the world.

During the conversation, the premiere emphasized that the virus had unfolded an unprecedented global health and economic crisis.

People in the developing countries would be hit harder due to lack of debt servicing.

He also said that people in the developing countries face a sharply delineated choice, death by COVID-19 or hunger.
