PM Imran Khan decides to activate Corona Relief Tiger Force soon

Prime Minister Imran Khan has on Wednesday decided to activate the Corona Relief Tiger Force soon to provide help to deserving people and the daily wagers amid lockdown.

According to the details, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar and Special Assistant on social protection and poverty Dr. Sania Nishtar has finalized plans on the directions of PM Imran Khan.

Usman Dar said that within a few days, the Tiger Force will be mobilized with the district administration.

The young people in the Tiger Force will identify the deserving and the unemployed, he said.

He also said that majority of students and social workers are among those who have registered for the volunteers’ force.

Usman Dar submitted the latest report on registration of the force to the Prime Minister on Monday.

He stated that most of the youth signed up to volunteer force hailed from Punjab with 494,000 people registering for the cause from the province.

Dr. Sania Nishtar said that these decisions are being made to accelerate the process of delivering aid.

Whereas, a total of 111,000 people from Sindh registered for the tiger force, 102,000 from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and 10,000 from Balochistan, 10,000 from Islamabad, and 8,000 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
