Tiger Force will help families registering with Ehsaas Cash Emergency Program

Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said one million youth have so far registered with the Corona Relief Tiger Force.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Friday, he said these included six hundred and twenty six thousand from Punjab, one hundred and forty six thousand from Sindh and one hundred and thirty six thousand from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Special Assistant said this force comprises of teachers, health workers, engineers, lawyers, doctors and people belonging to other segments of the society.

Usman Dar said that the responsibilities to the health workers will be entrusted in the next week after talks with the health ministry.

Usman Dar said the Force will also help the deserving families get themselves registered with Ehsaas Cash Emergency Program.

Earlier; The Prime Minister House has issued directives to All Provincial Chief Secretaries to mobilize Corona Relief Fund Tiger Force.

According to the directives Tiger Force will be fielded as soon as Prime Minister receives instructions.

Provincial governments should keep the force on standby by completing arrangements.

Time for registration of Tiger Force also ended.

TORs containing Code of Conduct for Tiger Force also issued. Membership will be suspended if the Code of Conduct is not implemented.

The Tiger Force will work at the provincial, district, and union council levels.

The Tiger force will ensure ration provision in emergency, quarantine management and transport management. It will have full support from the administration.

Furthermore The Deputy Commissioner, DPO, and relevant public representatives will work with the Force.
