CM Punjab Usman Buzdar pays tribute to plane crash victim Khalid Sherdil

Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Usman Buzdar has paid tribute to Khalid Sherdil who was the senior member Pakistan Administrative Service killed in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) plane crash last week.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar said “Khalid Sherdil worked on the frontline during the corona outbreak and provided timely support to the government,” The chief minister of Punjab visited Sherdil’s family to offer his condolences. “Punjab government has been robbed of a capable and intelligent officer.”

Earlier Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in his message on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr has said that Eid-ul-Fitr surely the best reward of Allah Almighty after the holy month of Ramazan.

Usman Buzdar said that Eid-ul-Fitr is a day of thanking Allah Almighty. He said that this Eid is being celebrated in the extraordinary circumstances that occurred due to coronavirus. He said that millions of people are facing unemployment and economic hardships due to coronavirus.

We should not forget them as well on this Eid occasion. The nation is facing challenges due to Covid-19. This time Eid is being celebrated with simplicity because of COVID-19 and plane crash in Karachi. We salute to the martyrs of the plane crash and corona and government equally share the grief of families of martyrs.
