Ijaz Shah urges nation to observe SOPs strictly during Eid

Interior Minister Ijaz Shah has appealed the nation to observe standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the government and must follow strict precautionary measures while celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr.

In a video message on Twitter, Shah said: “If you observe these SOPs and preventive measures, you will be able to celebrate many Eids and other occasions in future.”

Earlier, Sindh Information Minister Nasir Hussain Shah said that it has been decided to allow congregational prayers for Shab-e-Qadr, Jumu’atul-Widaa and Eid prayers.

Addressing a press conference in Karachi along with other provincial ministers, Nasir Hussain Shah said that all the provinces would abide by the notification received from the federal government today (May 20).

He said that ulema are agreed on  20-point which will be followed during the congregations prayers.

Nasir Hussain Shah said that we ask the opposition to come and work together. The Chief Minister of Sindh consulted with all parties.
