Spokesperson of Balochistan Government Liaquat Shahwani said on Sunday that if public continued to violate standard operating procedures (SOPs), cases of coronavirus in the province will rise to larger extent.

As per details, Liaquat Shahwani was addressing to media today. He said very disappointed with the behavior of people violating SOPs. Liquat Shahwani said t if public continued to violate standard operating procedures, the number of cases in the province will increase.

“We are reminding traders of their responsibilities, we said wear masks, not helmets,” Spokesperson of Balochistan Government said.

“I ask those who live in colder areas, during winters, in Quetta for example, they wear three mufflers, the most you get from cold is a flu. We do so much to protect ourselves from the cold, why can’t we wear a small mask. This means we do not have a sense of responsibility,” he lamented.

On the other hand Following the announcements of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the government of Balochistan has also announced about resuming public transport from Monday. As per the relevant authorities, the SOPs to be abided on will decided by the transporters, commissioners, and the Regional Transport Authority of the province. The decision has taken after PM Khan asked the provinces to resume the public transport for facilitating the less-privileged segments of the society.
