Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar announced the good news for Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC).

According to details, a 15 percent increase in the salaries of the employees of Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) was approved on the occasion of the budget.

Karachi Mayor Waseem Akhtar has said that the May salaries of all KMC employees will be paid with a 15 percent increase. These salaries must be paid before Eid with a 15% increase.

Wasim Akhtar said the move would enable employees to celebrate their Eid in a better way. The salaries of all doctors and paramedical staff have also been increased by 15 percent.

The mayor of Karachi said that the salaries of fire brigade, municipal services, parks and all other departments were also increased by 15 percent.

He said that all the department heads should submit their salaries in the payroll by Tuesday.

A spokesman for the Karachi Metropolitan Municipality said that the news of 15% increase in salaries has created a wave of happiness among the employees. All the employees of KMC are grateful to Mayor Karachi Wasim Akhtar for his efforts and continuous hard work.
