More than hundred Pakistanis imprisoned in Malaysian jails returned back home on Sunday.

As per details, 167 Pakistani prisoners in Malaysian jails reached Lahore where they will be able to celebrate Eid with their loved ones. The release of the prisoners was made possible by the efforts of Pakistan High Commission in Kuala Lumpur.

The prisoners reached Lahore by Malaysian Airlines bearing flight no 8131. Amna Baloch, Pakistan’s High Commissioner in Malaysia, said the repatriation of all Pakistani prisoners would be ensured by three flights before Eid. The third flight of Malaysian Airlines carrying Pakistani prisoners will reach Lahore tomorrow.

With the concerted efforts of the Pakistan High Commission, the return of prisoners was made possible.
