PIA continues its relief flight operations following Coronavirus outbreak

The Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will operate four flights from Lahore today as the national carrier continues its relief flight operation following Coronavirus outbreak.

According to the details, PIA’s PK-757, carring the British national will leave for London from Lahore, whereas, it will bring around 200 stranded Pakistanis all the way from London to Lahore.

The special flight PK-203 on May 8 will leave for Dubai to bring back stranded Pakistani nationals.

Moreover, two empty PIA planes will leave from Lahore to Dubai and will bring 400 struck Pakistanis back to Faisalabad.

On the other hand, PIA continues to repatriate Pakistanis stranded abroad, in which a special PIA flight has reached Pakistan carrying nationals from South Korea.

Yesterday, PIA’s special flight had returned the country carrying Pakistanis who were stuck in Turkey. 284 stranded Pakistanis in Turkey have returned home via special flight PK-784.

When the flight landed at Islamabad International Airport, all incoming passengers were screened and medically examined in accordance with the rules and regulations.

According to airport sources, Samples of all passengers have been taken following Coronavirus precautionary measure. The passengers have been transferred to the quarantine center by special medical teams, source said.
