PM Imran Khan wishes good health to his Russian counterpart

Prime Minister Imran Khan sent best wishes to his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin for a speedy recovery from deadly Coronavirus disease.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, PM Imran wrote, “Wishing PM of Russia Mikhail Mishustin a speedy recovery and good health. Corona virus is a common challenge and we stand together with our Russian friends in battling this challenge.”

He also affirmed that the government of Pakistan stands with the Russians to fight against this deadly pandemic.

Earlier, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced his diagnosis with COVID-19.

He, during a video meeting with President Vladimir Putin, told that he has contracted Coronavirus.

Mishustin, 54, appointed PM in January and played a vital role in Russia’s response to battle against the deadly virus.

Mikhail Mishustin went to self-isolation and temporarily stepped down as Prime Minister. Putin appoints First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov to replace Mikhail Mishustin.

“I have to observe self-isolation and follow orders of doctors. This is necessary to protect my colleagues,” he told Putin, promising to be in constant contact “on all the main issues.” said the premier.
