President urges people to offer Eid prayers at home

President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi has urged masses to offer Eid Prayers at home in order to curb the spread of deadly coronavirus.

As per details, President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi was addressing ration distribution among Afghan refugees in Islamabad today in wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

While addressing, Dr Arif Alvi said Pakistan wants early and honorable repatriation of Afghan refugees. The President said Pakistan kept its doors open for Afghan brethren, who have been facing war oppression since several decades. He said Pakistan wants early and durable peace in Afghanistan. He said we provided same facilities and cooperation to Afghan refugees extended to our own citizens to protect them from coronavirus.

Dr Arif Alvi said Islam teaches us compassion and good feelings for fellow Muslims and in the same spirit Pakistan and Turkey have been hosting Afghan and Syrian refugees on their respective lands. He also congratulated happy Eid to Afghan refugees and prayed for tranquility in Afghanistan and their repatriation to their homes.

President Arif Alvi urged people to offer Eidul Fitr prayers at home in order to curb the spread of the dread virus. “It is not just a matter of our own lives, but of our families” “This is a responsibility. If someone gets sick because of my carelessness, for example, if you are driving fast and hit someone, God will ask why you were driving rashly.” He added that practices will have to change in accordance with circumstances. In addition to this President Arif Alvi said that coronavirus has “made everyone equal” as the entire world was suffering from the pandemic.
