Punjab’s Health Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid said the provincial government is using all-out resources to fight against coronavirus.

Dr. Yasmin Rashid chaired a meeting in Lahore on Monday. She informed that further steps are being considered to

treat coronavirus patients in ICUs.

She added that they have enough paramedical staff and doctors in hospitals.

She also said that the morale of their doctors is high who are treating the patients selflessly.

Note that there are 20,000 confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan. Out of these, 476 have died whereas 5, 635 have recovered. There are now 14, 773 active cases of Covid-19 in the country.

Globally, the total number of confirmed Coronavirus cases is 3,562,759. Out of these, the active cases are 2,161,572, over 248,116 have died whereas 1,153,071 people have recovered.

Ehsaas cash programme for unemployed citizens-How to apply?

Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a portal under Ehsaas Cash Programme to help people who lost their jobs amid coronavirus.

Those who have lost their jobs because of lockdown measures can register themselves on ehsaaslabour.nadra.gov.pk to avail a stipend worth PKR 12, 000. The registrations will be analyzed and the amount will be given to the qualified people. The assistance will be provided entirely on merit basis without political interference.
