Sindh records 1017 new cases of novel coronavirus

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah confirmed on Wednesday that the province has recorded 1017 new cases of novel coronavirus, highest in the past 24 hours.

As per details, The total number of cases in the province is now 18,964. The province also recorded 17 deaths, taking the toll to 316. About 127 patients are in critical condition and 32 are on ventilators, the chief minister said.

The chief minister said that 6,164 tests were conducted in the province over the past 24 hours. He added there were 13,003 patients under treatment in the province at the moment, adding that 5,645 patients had recovered from the virus in the province.

On the other hand Buyers thronged malls of the city which were allowed to reopen on Tuesday after the Supreme Court’s order. The Top court on Monday ordered the reopening of shopping malls and markets for the whole week all-over the country which had been shut down during the lockdown given the COVID-19 pandemic.
