Three women, 2 children drowned in Indus River, 4 bodies recovered

At least five people drowned in Indus River in district Thatta here on Saturday.
The unfortunate incident was reported at Goth Ismail Jatt in areas of Dandari.
According to the police, five including three women and two children drowned in Indus River.
All the other four drowned while saving a falling child in the river, police officials said.
The police said that the women were washing clothes on the riverside when a child slipped into the river.
The women also dived into the river but unfortunately failed to survive.
The police has so far has recovered four dead bodies, three women and a child.
The rescue divers have continued search operation to find the missing child, police said.
Earlier in February, two brothers drowned in a river in Bolan, Balochistan.
