Another Aircraft carrying COVID-19 relief gear lands in Pakistan

Another aircraft carrying medical and relief items from China has been landed in the federal capital Islamabad today (Tuesday).

According to the Spokesperson of National Disaster Management Authority, these items include 150 thousand N-95 masks, 1.5 million medical masks, 150 thousand protective glasses and 150 thousand surgical gowns.

Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Muhammad Afzal received the consignment from Chinese Ambassador at Islamabad Airport.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman NDMA thanked the Chinese Government and acknowledged its cooperation and assistance.

Chairman NDMA said 250 ventilators have so far been provided to provinces and 600 are available in warehouses. He said NDMA has also given orders for 2000 Oxygen beds.
