Dr Farooq Sattar demands relief of Rs. 2400 billion in Budget 2020-21

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Dr Farooq Sattar has said that every year the government presents a budget that is against the relief of people.

While addressing a press conference, Dr Farooq Sattar demanded that relief of Rs. 2400 billion should be given in the budget.

He said there is no benefit to the people in reducing the price of petrol as it becomes rare if it is increased then everything gets expensive.

It seems that no action will be taken against those responsible for the Sugar flour crisis.

Prime Minister Imran Khan himself is saying that the next two months will be tough in due to Coronavirus.

There is no relief package, the government has done nothing for small industries and cottage industries.

In addition to this, he said, The budget will be presented in 2 days. We present the shadow budget every year, in which we make budget suggestions.

Dr Farooq Sattar said if the IMF budget is given by the government, the whole nation will be on the streets. Relief must be provided to the people. The country is currently in an economic crisis.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader further said The economy sank before Coronavirus.

The virus caused further damage to the country. Budgets are prepared in the context of the confrontation between the federation and the province.

The federal and provincial governments are moving in different directions. No National Financial Commission award has come in 10 years.

The Pakistan government is set to release the budget for the next year on June 12.
