The former head (Ameer) of Jamaat-e-Islami central Syed Munawar Hassan has passed away in Karachi on Friday.

Syed Munawar Hassan had been undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi for a month.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has expressed grief over JI Ameer’s demise.

He has prayed for forgiveness and elevation of ranks. He prayed for patience for his family.
