NAB summons Khawaja Asif on June 26

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned PML-N leader Khawaja Asif on June 26.

NAB Lahore has summoned former foreign minister Khawaja Asif in housing society case. PML-N leader Khawaja Asif is accused of selling more than the existing land. Khawaja Asif is also accused of illegal authority use.  Family members of Khawaja Asif are also involved in the case.

Earlier, Chairman anti graft body Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that the anti corruption watchdog is making serious efforts to eradicate corruption and for a corruption free Pakistan.

He said that the first priority of NAB was to bring mega corruption cases to a logical conclusion.

The institution has no political affiliations and belongs only to the state of Pakistan.
