Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has decided to file a review petition in Supreme Court of Pakistan (SCP) in Justice Faez Isa case.

Vice Chairman of Pakistan Bar Council Abid Saqi has said that review petition will be filed after detailed verdict of the court on the case.

Abid Saqi further said that they do not expect transparent inquiry from Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) due to government’s pressure on the institution.

Moreover, the SC on Friday rejected the presidential reference against Justice Qazi Faez Isa.

The short verdict was announced by Justice Umar Ata Bandial, leading the 10-judge full court bench hearing the case.
