After receiving permission from the Air Traffic Control, a Russian cargo plane made emergency technical landing on Jinnah International Airport.

According to details, the plane was going to United Arab Emirates (UAE) from Afghanistan, but had to land at Karachi airport for refueling.

In April this year an Indian cargo plane landed at Islamabad International Airport for fuel re-filling. The Indian cargo aircraft DM 2112 took a flight from the Kolkata Airport and landed at Islamabad International Airport.

The plane stayed at the Pakistani airport for 40 minutes and then took off for Georgia after fuel refilling. On April 4 also, Pakistan’s Air Traffic Controller (ATC) had guided two Indian planes flying for Europe.
