ATC indicts Uzair Baloch in murder case

Karachi Anti Terrorism Court has on Tuesday indicted Uzair Baloch, the kingpin of the infamous criminal gang in Lyari.

According to details, he was indicted in a case related to the kidnapping and murder of a trader.

Jail authorities produced Uzair Baloch in the courtroom with his head covered and both hands cuffed amid tight security.

Hearing the case at Central Jail, Karachi, the ATC judge framed charges against the accused who denied having any role in the abduction and murder of Abdul Samad and opted to contest the charges.

Furthermore the court issued notices to the investigation officer and witnesses to turn up at next hearing for deposition.

Earlier  The Sindh government has made public the joint investigation reports (JITs) of Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch, Baldia Factory tragedy and Nisar Morai.

According to the details, all three JITs of Uzair , Baldia Factory tragedy and Nisar Morai are available on the Sindh Home Department website. As soon as the JIT reports were uploaded, the server of the Sindh Home Department website went down.

The JIT report of Lyari gang war leader Uzair Baloch consists of 36 pages which include the names of dozens of accomplices including Ahkhana, Habib Jan, Habib Hassan, Saif Ali, Noor Mohammad.

According to the report, Uzair Baloch has confessed to killing 198 people. Uzair Baloch killed all the people in the linguistic and gang war conflict while Uzair deployed 7 SHOs on the basis of influence.
