According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Senator Rehman Malik met Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa at GHQ Rawalpindi.

The ISPR spokesperson said that defense and internal security issues were discussed during the meeting and full cooperation of the Senate Home Affairs Committee was assured to strengthen the achievements.

The ISPR spokesperson further said that in a meeting with the Army Chief, Senator Rehman Malik appreciated the achievements of Pakistan Army for lasting peace in the country.

Earlier, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan had a meeting with Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

According to ISPR, the Chiefs of Air Staff and Air Force met at GHQ Rawalpindi, the professional matters were discussed during the meeting.
