Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday and discussed the ongoing Coronavirus situation, Kashmir issue, political situation and other key matters.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said the spread of COVID-19 was reduced by taking timely measures. The foreign minister stressed that implementation over precautionary measures must be ensured.

He said Pakistan is fighting the case of Kashmir before the international community under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The foreign minister praised the efforts of the Punjab governor when he apprised him of the contacts he made with the European and British parliamentarians to highlight the Kashmir issue.

FM Qureshi said that India is moving away from other countries of the region, being exposed before the world and facing defeat on every platform. Pakistan will strongly stand by Kashmiri brothers and sisters, he affirmed.

Chaudhry Sarwar said India is committing worst state terrorism in occupied Kashmir. I am in contact with the European and British parliamentarians over the matter, he said.
