Petroleum product prices to increase again from August 1st

The petroleum product’s price has once again increased in Pakistan. OGRA has sent the Ministry of Finance a summary of changes in the prices of petroleum products.

According to the summary sent by OGRA, it has been proposed to increase the prices of petroleum products by more than Rs 9 per liter from August 1.

As per the details, the summary has also proposed an increase in the petrol price by Rs9.50 per liter, high-speed diesel by Rs7 per liter, kerosene by Rs6 per liter, and light diesel oil by Rs6 per liter. A total increase of Rs 6 per liter has been proposed.

It should be mentioned here that the Ministry of Finance will take a final decision on the summary of changes in the prices of petroleum products, while the new prices will be applicable from midnight on August 1.

In the previous month, the price of petrol was increased by Rs25.58, making the new price of 100.10 per liter.
