Smart Lockdown lifted in 89 areas of KP says Wazir

Advisor to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister on Information and Public Relations, Ajmal Wazir has said that the government is paying special attention to the development of the tribal areas.

Addressing media on Thursday, Ajmal Wazir said Smart lockdown currently imposed in 214 areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The measures are aimed at controlling the epidemic in KP. Smart Lockdowns will continued to be in force where the novel coronavirus cases increase.

In addition to this, he said Smart lockdown lifted in 89 areas of the province.

Earlier he said the government has prepared a good budget in the present difficult sit­uation of Corona and has given due importance to the health sector and Ehsas Programme.

. He further said that on the directives of Chief Minis­ter Mehmood Khan, the district administrations, health and relief departments were monitoring the areas with smart lockdown and the strategy of smart lockdown has proved useful in controlling the spread of coronavirus.

The Advisor said that the recovery rate from Corona has improved in the province, which increased from 30% to 48% in the last one week. Ajmal Wazir said by the grace of Allah, Imran Khan is the Prime Minister of the country in this difficult time.
