Pakistan Army and Navy continue to rescue and relief efforts in the Naya Nazimabad Area of Karachi that got severely affected by the recent spell of rain.

According to the details, even after three days of rainfall, the area of Naya Nazimabad is still inundated and flooded.

Pakistan Army and Pakistan Navy are busy rescuing the affected families by boats. Residential houses are submerged in 7 to 9 feet of water. Women and the elderly are also being rescued.

People continue to be evacuated by boat to dry places.

Earlier according to the Inter-Service Intelligence, Pakistan Army Engineers cleared COD underpass on Shahrahe Faisal for traffic.

Work on KPT underpass in progress. Availability of Basic commodities including ration items are being provided through mobile teams at badly affected areas. Dewatering at multiple locations continues to ensure civic facilities.
