A brother shot his sister in Clifton area of Karachi on Saturday (Aug 8).

According to the sources of police, a boy shot and killed his sister for honour in the city today.

The sources also said that the suspect, Hasnain Qamar, shot his 19-year-old sister, Noorul Huda Shah, in the city’s Marine Drive area, situated in Clifton Block 2.

The 19-year-old girl shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. Executive director of JPMC Dr Seemin Jamali said that the girl had received a bullet on head.

Police told that the suspect in under arrest and they have recovered the weapon from him.

SSP South Sheeraz Nazeer said that the suspect has confessed to killing his sister for honour.
