Imran Khan expresses grief and condolence over Air India crash

On Friday, Air India Express passenger aircraft crashed on the runway and broke into two in heavy after landing in the city of Calicut. At least 15 people are killed and dozens are injured.

Taking to his official Twitter account, Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed his grief and condolence over the Air India crash. He wrote,

Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the Boeing-737 flight from Dubai was flying home Indians stranded overseas. There were 190 passengers and crew on board, he said in a statement from the civil aviation ministry. Ten of them were infants.
