Karachi remains without electricity for four days due to rain

Different areas of Karachi remained submerged and without electricity, four days after torrential rains wreaked havoc on the metropolis.

According to details, electricity has not been restored in different areas of North Karachi and in Surjani Town.

Karachi’s elite area Defence is still drowned in the rainwater with no electricity for four days. On the other hand, areas including Kharadar, Azeem Plaza Shoe Market, and Ranchhor Line is still waiting for the power.

The rain on Thursday broke all records of K-Electric’s incompetence. K-Electric’s dysfunctional and rotten system has robbed the citizens of peace day and night.

However, K-Electric succeeded in restoring power in 90% of the city after 50 hours. Power was restored in Korangi Industrial Area and Clifton Block 7 after four days.
