National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned significant political figures this week.

NAB has called PML-N leader Hanif Abbasi on 17th August. Hanif has been called in wake of sports board corruption scandal.

According to details, the accountability bureau has also sent a questionnaire based on 20 questions to the leader. Abbasi has been asked to appear with complete answers.

In addition to this, the bureau has also called PTI MPs Ghazanfar Abbas and Malik Karamat on 17th August to appear before Lahore court.

On the other hand, PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz’s cousin Mohsin Latif has also been called by NAB Lahore on 17th August over endowment land scandal. In addition to this, former CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif, LDA, and endowment officers are also included in the inquiry.

Furthermore, the bureau office has called the former principal secretary of CM Punjab Raheel Ahmed Siddiqui on 17th August (tomorrow). The accused has been asked to fill the questionnaire and submit it before the court.

Above all, NAB Lahore summoned PTI provincial minister Ansar Majeed Niazi on 19th August over illegal postings.

National Accountability Bureau NAB Lahore has earlier summoned Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar today for illegally awarding a liquor license to a private hotel.

According to the details, the bureau said Buzdar acted against the law since only the Excise department’s director-general is authorized to issue liquor licences.

The Punjab CM, however, believes NAB is after him without any evidence.
